Gordon Freireich is a third-generation Yorker who has been accumulating information on York’s Jewish history for a number of year. He is a retired newspaper columnist who has led walking tours of York’s historic Jewish downtown area.

Lou Lavetan is a fourth-generation Yorker and a former member of the York JCC Board of Directors whose family roots go back to the late 1800s.
