Jewish Family Services was founded as a nonprofit social service organization more than 20 years ago. Our motto is "caring for you for life," and we provide services regardless of religious affiliation. We offer:
- The Parenting Place: A personalized approach to 21st century family challenges with one-on-one and small-group coaching to strengthen basic parenting skills, Improve communication, foster financial values and tame technology.
- Project Manna: A safety net for those in need, including York's only Kosher food pantry. Participants can receive monthly supplemental food, holiday-time assistance and benefits counseling. Staffers also educate the community on hunger issues.
- Staying Connected: Interfaith volunteers help older adults live independently. Services include escorted medical transportation, grocery shopping and help with other essential errands, Medicare counseling and advocacy and referrals. Visit www.stayingconnectedyork.org for more details.
- Wise Options: Comprehensive planning to maintain the independence and dignity of seniors. This geriatric care management program provides assessments and case management, family guidance from near and afar, personal affairs management, and guardianship and crisis management.

Chabad of York provides creative Jewish programming in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Programs include Lunch & Learns, personal instruction and counseling for youth and adults, seasonal holiday programming like Matzah Bakery, Shofar Factory, and Olive Oil Press and educational magazines and booklets. The website features an online Judaica store as well as thousands of articles, audio, and video.

JCC Association of North America is the leadership network of, and central agency for over 275 Jewish Community Centers, YM-YWHAs and camps in the United States and Canada, which annually serve more than one million members. The association offers a wide range of services and resources to enable its affiliates to provide educational, cultural and recreational programs to enhance the lives of North American Jewry.
