Ken recently retired as a licensed psychologist after a forty-seven year career. His undergraduate and graduate degrees were earned at the City College of New York (CCNY 1968 and 1971).
The scope of Ken’s professional activities include independent practice of outpatient therapy, instructor at Penn State/York Campus, and establishing an innovative family therapy program at the York County Children and Youth Services in 1975. Additionally, he has appeared before the Pennsylvania House Subcommittee on Crime and Corrections concerning legislation and juveniles (1977, 1978), supervised staff and conducted workshops for several agencies in Pennsylvania, and worked as a supervisor and evaluator for Catholic Charities.
He has served in the past on the Board of Directors of the Mental Health Association and on the Health Advisory Board of Head Start.
Avid interests include writing poetry in which Ken has won several awards over the years and as an artist accepted in various juried shows. In addition, he regularly participates and competes in the York County Senior Games and Keystone State Games, primarily in swimming and bocce contests.
