My name is Tammy Golden, and I am the Site Director here at Gan Tamar School for the Early Years. I have been with the JCC Early Childhood Education (ECE) department since August 1998. I graduated in 1994 from Lycoming College with a BA in Education and a minor in Psychology. I continued my education here at Penn State York and received my Master’s in Teaching and Education. I then obtained my Director credential in Spring 2020.
I have taught here in the ECE department for 21 years before accepting the Site Director role. It is my true passion to help nurture and teach our next generation of young learners. It is a true blessing to be part of an amazing team of educators who make a difference in the lives of so many young children. When not at the JCC, I love to enjoy the outdoors like biking, hiking, and gardening. I also spend a lot of time on my family farm helping out with the chores and enjoying the fresh produce that comes from our hard labor.
