Overview: 

The Executive Assistant will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director and other senior staff.

 

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.
  • At least four years of related experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

General Responsibilities:

  • Provides high-level administrative support and assistance to the Executive Director and/or other assigned leadership staff.

The principal duties of the Assistant Teacher include collaborating with the Head Teacher to develop weekly curricular plans; cooperating with the home base team to implement and evaluate classroom activities; overseeing the physical well-being of the children; maintenance of the classroom, classroom materials, and equipment; and contributing to the overall operation of the Early Childhood Program.

Overview: Get ready for an action-packed summer filled with hands-on learning, trips and silly fun! Provide care and guidance for campers ages 5-14. Give campers a unique and fun summer in a safe and nurturing environment. The Summer Camp Counselor will work cooperatively with the home base teaching team to maintain the quality of the JCC School Age Program, providing excellent care and education for children, and building strong partnerships with families.

 

Minimum Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • At least 18 years old.

  • Positively and actively promote the JCC’s mission, membership, programs, events, and charitable purpose to JCC Early Childhood families, members, staff, guests, and the general public.

FACILITIES


Overview:The Part-Time Housekeeping I position is a motivated individual who takes pride in cleanliness and customer service. The Part-Time Housekeeping I position is responsible for completing tasks, as assigned by the evening head supervisor, housekeeping supervisor and facilities director, to ensure the entire building is clean and ready to be reopened each morning.

Hours: Part-time evenings and weekends

Responsibilities:

  • Care and maintenance of cleaning equipment; i.e. vacuum cleaners and other cleaning machines
  • Steam cleaning and hard floor care
  • Securing all doors and windows
  • Restocking all paper products, soaps, and housekeeping supplies throughout the building.
  • Refuse removal.
  • Occasional exposure to chemicals, blood pathogens, body fluids
  • Use of proper safety equipment
  • Occasional extra hours
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Ensure that all rentals are set up in a timely manner to allow ample time for renters.

The Group Fitness Instructor will lead members, in a group environment, through a pre-arranged format of exercises designed to enhance overall fitness, strength, and endurance, while ensuring that the safety of the members is not compromised.

We’re seeking a Yoga Instructor to lead our fitness classes. As our new Yoga instructor you must be:
• Enthusiastic about group exercise classes and enjoy creating and delivering new, fresh, and innovative routines

• A professional who is collaborative and a flexible leader in and out of the studio

MARKETING


Overview:  The Marketing Specialist will work under the supervision of the Marketing Manager to create content for various print, digital and web platforms.  Responsibilities include assisting in the planning, creation, implementation, and monitoring of ROI for all integrated marketing and advertising campaigns.

Minimum Educational/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic/web design, advertising, marketing, or a related field preferred
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in graphic design and/or digital media
  • Solid knowledge of design and editing programs including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Video Editing Programs
  • Knowledge of web design and content management systems including wordpress
  • Experience with Google Ads and Google Campaign Manager
  • Experience with paid social media platforms including Facebook Ads, Instagram, and YouTube.
  • Experience in advertising copy/professional writing
  • Knowledge of the latest integrated media trends
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
  • Basic budgeting skills to reconcile paid digital media placements with available budget

General Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to develop a strategy for integrated marketing campaigns
  • Design, schedule and placement of integrated marketing materials including print and digital advertisements, newsletter, email, social media, outdoor and video using appropriate graphic design or video editing software programs
  • Support the day-to-day development and coordination of print and digital materials, working closely with cross-functional internal teams and external vendors, from initiation to execution.
  • Keep the online media library up-to-date
  • Remaining up-to-date with the latest digital media trends and design technology

MARKETING


Overview: The Membership Director is responsible for new membership sales revenue,
meeting/exceeding monthly and annual revenue and retention goals for membership, which
will enable the JCC to forward their strategic mission plan. The Membership Director will develop,
implement and lead new member onboarding, engagement, and retention strategies, which are
consistent with the JCC’s strategic plan and objectives. The Membership Director will ensure
delivery of high quality member experiences, improve member retention, reduce attrition and
extend the average length of membership of our customers. The Membership Director will
promote programs to members and the community at large to meet established budget and
revenue goals.

Minimum Education / Experience:

  • Associates degree required, Bachelors preferred.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing a customer service, marketing or membership
    department
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain positive working relationships at all levels
  • Ability to achieve results through the use of influence

  • Prospect for new members/clients.
  • Demonstrate proficient use of sales system by implementing consistent lead management,
    outbound calls and conversion ratio.
  • Conduct tours for potential new members using a consultative sales approach.
  • Identify corporate wellness partner leads and achieve corporate wellness unit goals for the
    JCC.
  • Create and implement new membership onboarding initiatives for new members, member
    engagement, retention, policy compliance, customer service, and member communications.
  • Represent the JCC at community events to promote membership and programs.
  • Create and promote a work environment that is inclusive of diverse backgrounds.
  • Provide direction, leadership and support to the JCC, with regard to their strategic retention,
    process evaluation, and improvement and performance management.
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Communications Manager on member communication
    activities, such as newsletter, calendar and program flyers.
  • Implement marketing and promotional activities including but not limited to member
    engagement events.
  • Prepare, manage, and implement the membership annual budget to ensure goals are

  • Providing front line security by greeting members, ensuring all scans are valid, guests are checked in properly and all entering members are directed to the correct areas
  • Answering phones, transferring calls, and taking and disseminating messages
  • Quick and accurate data entry of all program registrations and receipts
  • Accurately maintaining records and balancing of all monies received and disbursed
  • Supporting staff by cross-selling programs, answering questions, and running rosters
  • Being a liaison between membership and staff
  • Assisting with training and coverage of fellow CET members
