The York JCC ballroom is the perfect venue for your special event. We offer a beautiful ballroom for wedding receptions, birthday parties and a meeting facility for both large and small groups. This facility seats up to 200 people banquet style, 325 people theater-style, has a sweeping parquet dance floor, and a large stage area with acoustic and lighting systems. Outside caterers are welcome to utilize our industrial-sized kitchen.
If you’re hosting a smaller party or meeting, the JCC has several rooms which may be adapted to meet your needs.

Enjoy free play in our heated indoor pool! Parents of children who cannot swim independently must be in the water with their child. Parties over 20, please call for rates.
The JCC closes at 5 PM on Saturdays. Any event scheduled past 5 PM is an after-hours rental and is subject to the fees listed above. Renters are expected to vacate the building by 12 AM.
YES! You may use any outside caterer. Our kitchen is available for rent if your caterer wishes to prepare food on the premises. However, since the JCC is a Jewish center, we require renters to respect the JCC’s Kosher policy. This generally means no pork or shellfish are allowed in the building. For more specific questions about our Kosher policy, please contact the Assistant Membership Director.
JCC rentals include the set-up and tear-down of the tables and chairs used for your event. Our staff will set up the ballroom to your specifications, and be on call throughout the evening to assist you should you need help.
Renters are welcome to bring in their own alcohol. However, the sale of alcohol on the premises is not permitted without a license.
Smoking is not permitted on the JCC campus, including the Temple parking lot. Smoking on the JCC campus is a contract violation that may result in a forfeited security deposit.
The JCC requires a 50% refundable security deposit to reserve our venue for your special event. The security deposit is not applied towards your rental fee. Once your event is over and the conditions of rental have not been compromised, the deposit will be refunded in full. Conditions include leaving on time, and without damage to the building or contents.
