Temple Beth Israel is affiliated with the Union for Reform Judaism. Rabbi Melody Davis conducts Kabbalat Shabbat worship services each Friday evening, beginning at 7:00pm. Cantor Lisa Levine joins the congregation twice each month and creates a moving, inspiring, musical, and spiritual environment for prayer and introspection. She also leads the choir once a month to add to our joy.

The Temple Beth Israel community enjoys a variety of programing and activities, including:
  • Family Shabbat (first Friday of every month) – includes the celebration of monthly birthdays and a message for all ages to enjoy!
  • Friday night services
  • Religious School (Kindergarten through Confirmation)
  • Bar- and Bat- Mitzvah preparation

Ohev Sholom Congregation of York, PA is an egalitarian, inclusive, and creative Chavarah dedicated to preserving Jewish identity and enriching the life of the Jewish community of York County and south-central Pennsylvania. Our primary mission is to inspire an enduring commitment to Jewish life, Jewish worship and learning and to Israel thru the development of a unique and dynamic network of a dedicated Jewish community.

Activities include Shabbat and holiday services, daily minyan when called for, education for adults, scholar-in-residence program. Ohev Sholom welcomes inquiries for membership.
