We are thrilled that you have chosen our camp program for your child this summer. The York Jewish Community Center has been a huge part of the camp scene in York County for the past 41 years, and we are looking forward to summer 2026!
Inside this registration packet you will see some new and exciting additions for the summer. We have something for everyone from Preschool to 6th grade!
We know how important it is for students to have a safe and welcoming environment. At the York JCC, it is our priority to ensure that every family enrolled in our camp is treated with respect, kindness, and a positive approach. We also want to provide campers with every chance to get something out of their summer that is unique, valuable, and experiential.

Cost includes breakfast, lunch, snacks, all field trip fees, and events. A packed lunch will be required for some field trips.
Our JCamp programming runs for 10 consecutive weeks from June 1 – August 14, 2026 for children entering Kindergarten through Fourth Grade. Families who have vacations planned may take one week off at no charge.

A $50 Registration Fee is applicable to all JCamp Registrations at the time of enrollment. In addition, we will require one week’s deposit to be applied to the first week of JCamp, all of which is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis, which cannot be completed if there is an existing account balance. You must be a York JCC Member at the time of enrollment in order to receive the Member rate.

The York JCC is excited for our upcoming Specialty Camps for Summer 2026. These camps are separate from our JCamp but can easily be added on to JCamp for a fun-filled, full day experience. All Specialty Camps listed below have the option to be full day with lunch, group fitness instruction, and swimming.

A $75 deposit for each week of enrollment is due upon registration and will be applied to each corresponding week of care. The balance will automatically draft on Monday of the week that camp begins. These deposits are non-refundable and non transferable. Registration cannot be completed if there is an existing account balance.
You must be a York JCC Member at the time of enrollment in order to receive the Member rate. Specialty Camp is a program that does not qualify for financial assistance or reduced tuition. For employees, the teacher discount is not applicable, however the standard employee discount will apply.

June 8 – 12
Get ready for a goal-scoring summer! At our Soccer Skills Camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of soccer using fun, age-appropriate drills that build confidence and teamwork. We’ll focus on developing speed, agility, dribbling, passing, and shooting through exciting relay races, tag games, and high energy group challenges that keep everyone moving and engaged. This camp is perfect for participants who are brand new to soccer or those looking to sharpen their skills while having a blast on the field.

June 15 – 19
Celebrate summer with beach theme songs from the Teen Beach Movie while learning fun dance and jazz moves with 1950s vibes. Lots of fun props will be incorporated into the dances. Dance attire for class is comfortable clothing and sneakers (no flip flops or Crocs please). Students are asked to bring a beach towel and sunglasses for the week to use as props. There will be a performance on the last day of class! Camp is taught by dance instructor Cheryl Smith.

June 22 – 26
This camp invites young chefs to embark on a culinary adventure through diverse cultures and cuisines. Each day, campers explore a different country’s signature dishes, learn about its traditions, and try hands-on cooking activities. Along the way, they’ll discover new flavors, develop kitchen skills, and gain an appreciation for global diversity through food and fun.

June 29 – July 2
This camp immerses young innovators in hands-on engineering challenges that spark creativity and problem-solving skills. Each day focuses on a different branch of engineering—civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental, and aerospace. Through collaborative projects, experiments, and exploration, they learn about the engineering process while having fun and discovering the exciting world of STEAM.
Please note – no camp on Friday, July 3.

July 6 – 10
Get ready for a slam-dunk summer! At our Basketball Camp, participants will learn the fundamentals of the game through fun, age-appropriate drills that build confidence and teamwork. We’ll focus on dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and footwork while boosting speed and coordination through exciting relay races, skill challenges, and fast-paced games that keep everyone active. This camp is perfect for participants who are brand new to basketball or those looking to sharpen their skills in an energetic, supportive environment.

July 13 – 17
This camp unleashes creativity and engineering skills through the endless possibilities of LEGO bricks. Campers tackle daily challenges like building bridges, designing robots, creating cityscapes, and constructing simple machines. Activities incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts, encouraging problem-solving, collaboration, and hands-on learning.

July 20 – 24
This camp serves up a fun-filled week of baking creativity! Campers will explore a variety of sweet and savory baked treats, from classic cookies and muffins to international favorites. Each day includes hands-on baking lessons, kitchen safety tips, and nutritional insights, giving young bakers the confidence to create delicious, homemade goodies they can be proud of.

July 27 – July 31
This camp invites young artists to explore the wonders of the universe and their senses through creative expression. Campers craft cosmic masterpieces like galaxy paintings, 3D planet models, and glittering star mobiles. Sensory-focused activities include tactile art projects like moon sand sculpting, glow-in-the-dark slime, and textured collages.

August 3 – 7
Get ready for a week packed with action! At our Sports Academy Camp, participants will have a blast learning the fundamentals of basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and tumbling—all while boosting their physical fitness and making new friends. With exciting drills, games, and teamwork activities, participants will build skills, stay active, and have tons of fun.

August 10 – 14
This camp unleashes creativity and engineering skills through the endless possibilities of LEGO bricks. Campers tackle daily challenges like building bridges, designing robots, creating cityscapes, and constructing simple machines. Activities incorporate science, technology, engineering, art, and math concepts, encouraging problem-solving, collaboration, and hands-on learning.


Summer Mini Camps are the perfect fit if you are looking for small camp sizes that provide a safe, structured, and fun environment for your child(ren). Lesson plans focus on building fundamentals and enhancing athletic and gross motor development to gain the skills needed to be lifelong movers. Instructors teach all summer camps using the principles and methods of Applied Behavior Analysis for classroom management and skill development.

Registration for Camp will be completed through Keystone Kidspace
Co-led by Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Holly Metzger-Brown and the Keystone Kidspace team, this weeklong camp integrates mindfulness and growth mindset principles using acceptance and commitment techniques. In the first hour of camp, Holly will facilitate discussions and activities aimed at helping the girls embrace challenges, effectively regulate their emotions, and cultivate cognitive flexibility. The second hour of each day will be spent with the Keystone Kidspace team creating and tinkering. This is a full-week, 2-hour camp for girls ages 7 – 10 years.
Each camper receives mindfulness tools and the opportunity to earn a Mindfulness Girl Scout Badge.

Camp is a great way to meet new friends, stay active, enhance sports skills, and have fun. Camp is designed to focus on being a good sport, giving your best effort, and highlighting personal achievements. During the week, campers will participate in a variety of activities to enhance athletic development, while increasing confidence through storytelling, group games, and partner play. Camps are focused on social interaction and the importance of demonstrating sportsmanship. The last day of camp there will be a ceremony to showcase each camper.
