Cash gifts are another way to support the important Mission & Vision of the York JCC


  • Provides 1 month of challah to our Tot Shabbat students
  • Purchases weighted exercise balls for use in our adult and youth fitness classes
  • Purchases leg bands for use in our adult and youth fitness classes
  • Purchases two Yoga mats for use in our adult fitness classes
  • $25 provides a month of babysitting to a low-income family who is staying healthy and active at the JCC by visiting 3x per week
  • Purchases teachers tools such as stamps, clipboards, and magnets



  • Provides dreidels to over 300 students in our community as part of our educational outreach program to school districts
  • Provides for 38 weeks of programming to older adults
  • Purchases body bands for adult fitness classes
  • Purchases 1 basketball to be used by the youth fitness department
  • Per month can provide a one-parent family a scholarship toward membership that includes group swim lessons



  • Provides subsidization for 1 BBYO student-member to attend a convention where he/she can create meaningful Jewish experiences with other high school students from across the nation
  • Purchases a TRX Strap
  • per month provides 3 fixed-income older adults with a membership scholarship, allowing them to take part in water fitness classes, group fitness classes, and have a one-on-one with a personal trainer to have fitness questions answered
  • Funds a child for a week at day camp



  • Purchases a seated exercise bike to be used in our Parkinson’s program



  • Purchases a standing punching bag for use in our Parkinson’s program
  • Provides a scholarship to a low-income adult, enabling them to become part of the York JCC’s vibrant community where they can meet new people while becoming more active in their overall health journey



  • Funds our Sunday Nosh & Learn, the York JCC’s free adult education program that is offered 6 times/year and is open to the public



  • Allows the York JCC to feature Jewish & Israeli art throughout the building to enhance informal Jewish education and outreach and provoke an emotional response that contributes to overall wellness
  • Provides membership scholarships to 2 adults who are on the road to recovery so that they can continue what they have learned in physical therapy
  • Purchases a new piece of tumbling equipment to be used by pre-school students, youth fitness classes, fitness and sports camps, and toddler programs
