After receiving an invitation to play with the USA Women’s Rugby team, I realized I was more passionate about cultural adventures than playing rugby. Because of this, I hung up my cleats to start my travel journey, visiting a different location at least once a year. Along the way, I adopted two pit bulls who are now wonderful ambassadors for their breed. I’ve been focused on breaking stereotypes ever since.
In 2016, I graduated from Kutztown University with a Bachelor of Science in English/Professional Writing with Culture and Media Studies and minors in Communications, Literature, and Public Relations. Throughout my career, I realized that the most valuable characteristics of a creative are passion and curiosity. You may hear me frequently asking, “What is our goal here?” to dive to the heart of creative works.
Along with a part-time graphic designer, I work every day to create the image, whether that be visually or emotional, that pops into your head when someone in the public says, “York JCC.”
The Marketing Department is the behind the scenes force that supports every aspect of the J, from visual representation and communications to customer experiences and buyer journeys. Our job is to make sure that the J is being represented in the best way through every interaction we have with the public.
I guess all of that is just a more complicated way to say that our goal is to make you feel like the J is your home-away-from-home before you even walk through the doors.
