Consultations with Liz Wedeking

Nutrition is the foundation for a healthy life. JCC’s goal is to offer not only a physical outlet to those in our community but also offer the proper education in nutrition … helping build a happier, healthier, and stronger community.

As a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner, Liz works one-on-one with clients to help identify and correct nutritional imbalances and deficiencies that are at the root of their health concerns.

Symptoms that point to nutritional deficiencies include (but are not limited to):

  • Weight gain/difficulty losing weight
  • Fatigue
  • Digestive problems
  • Hormonal imbalances
  • Allergies
  • Depression/other mental or emotional health struggles
  • Poor heart health
  • Blood sugar disorders
  • Autoimmune diseases

Other chronic health problemsMost of these symptoms are rooted in a breakdown of one or more of the Foundations of Health which include:

  • Digestion
  • Blood Sugar Management
  • Fatty Acid Status
  • Mineral Balance
  • Hydration

When one or more of these foundations are not performing optimally, your health suffers and presents as some of the above symptoms. Liz will work with you to address nutritional deficiencies and enhance your body’s ability to heal using a properly prepared, nutrient-dense diet. You will learn to support your body by providing the proper fuel that meets your particular needs. Questions? Please email Liz Wedeking.

What you can expect working with Liz through Nutrition 1-2-3:

Step 1

Member Rate: $300 Involves 3 Sessions – 1 hour each

Prior to your first session: You will complete an online Nutritional Assessment Questionnaire (NAQ) and Three-Day Food Journal to provide a clearer picture of what symptoms you’re currently facing and what your current dietary habits are like.

Session 1: This is largely an information gathering session. Liz will ask more questions to get an even better idea of what your concerns are. She will go over the results of the NAQ and then perform a hands-on Functional Evaluation. This involves palpation of the body in particular areas that correlates with specific organs, glands, or systems and provides valuable information so Liz can help you address and support specific needs of your body that are preventing you from feeling your best. Liz will also work with you to set actionable goals and then make nutritional recommendations to help you achieve those goals.

Session 2: This is a follow- up session that will occur one to two weeks after Session 1. You and Liz will assess progress and troubleshoot areas of concern. Together you will revisit the goals and come up with a plan for additional steps to be taken toward reaching them. Liz will provide resources based on your needs for how to provide your body with the proper nutrition it needs.

Session 3: This will be another follow-up session to assess progress and make additional nutritional recommendations. You will meet two weeks after session 2 and will discuss the steps that have been taken toward your goals. Liz will also make recommendations for moving forward and provide necessary resources depending on your needs.

After completing the three sessions of Step 1, you will have the option to invest in additional Nutritional Therapy sessions. These will help ensure that you are on the right path that you started during Step 1. Nutritional changes can be daunting and these additional packages ensure that you have support from Liz to help you form new habits and make them sustainable for life.
