The York JCC is more than a fitness center, more than a pre-school – it is a dynamic community hub offering programs and services for every age, background, and ability. Guided by Jewish values and culture, we create an environment of immediate and lasting experiences.

Without generous supporters like you, the York JCC simply wouldn’t be able to nurture more than 650 children, share information about Jewish culture and history with more than 800 people, teach more than 400 children to swim for free, and engage more than 8,000 individuals with diversity and inclusion training.

The York JCC’s annual campaign begins in late winter each year and culminates in the spring. This three-month campaign raises money for the regular, on-going expenses of the agency. You can direct your donation to a specific department or program, or we can apply your gift to where it is most needed. When you support the York JCC’s annual campaign, you help give us the resources to create exceptional programs that serve and sustain our thriving community … today and for the future.
Give Local York celebrates York County’s nonprofit community by hosting a day of giving. On May 6 this year, the York JCC will join 300 other nonprofits to raise money and awareness of the nonprofit sector. Watch social media and this webpage for ways you can support the York JCC in 2022!
GivingTuesday, held the Tuesday after the Thanksgiving holiday, was created in 2012 as a simple idea: to encourage people to give back after a weekend of holiday shopping. It is now a global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity.
The York JCC participates in GivingTuesday by holding a supply collection. During the month of December, we collect much-needed supplies for our Early Childhood Education, Before and After School Care, Youth Fitness, and Parkinson’s programs. Watch the main lobby and the entrances to pre-school and Gan Rimon for details on how you can participate.

If your business has been awarded tax credits through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit program, children enrolled in the York JCC’s Early Childhood Education programs can benefit directly from your contribution. For more information about the EITC program, contact the Development Specialist.
Members can become Patron Members for $125 per month, with any additional money above the cost of the membership category selected is considered a tax-deductible donation. Benefits include a personal locker and recognition in program guides. Additionally, Patron Membership helps the York JCC provide free swimming lessons to children whose families couldn’t otherwise afford lessons, as well as provide Jewish cultural education and Holocaust education to our members and community.
