Bob Zarfoss

Bob retired thirty years ago from York City School District where he began his education career as an English teacher and retired as a principal of William Penn Senior High School. Prior to his time in education, he was a percussionist with the USAF Drum and Bugle Corps. The Corps was part of the SUAF Band, Washington D.C. During his years in the AF Drum Corps, he performed in nineteen countries and thirty-eight states, and for various heads of state and national events. Over the years, he has taught and arranged for various drum and bugle corps, while also having served as judge both nationally and internationally. Currently, he is the percussion arranger and instructor for the Hanover Lancers Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. He is a member of the World Drum Corps Hall of Fame, where he has served as an officer, and remains on the Executive Board.
